Burbank Police Search for Starbucks Robber
Police are looking to the public for help in finding a man who reportedly flashed a handgun while robbing a Starbucks last week in the 300 block of Pass Avenue.
The suspect is described as a male, black, 5 feet 10 inches tall with an athletic build, and had on a Raiders jacket.
He entered the Starbucks at 9 p.m. last Friday and asked for a glass of water.Afterwords, he flashed a handgun in his waistband, led the employee to the back of the store and demanded money from the safe.
According to Burbank Police Sgt. Darin Ryburn, the suspect left on foot with $2,500.
The police stated there were no injuries.

Big Rig Overturned Near Burbank
According to the California Highway Patrol, two lanes were closed after a fuel tanker overturned on the northbound 5 Freeway near Burbank.
The accident, involving several vehicles, took place a little before noon when the Arco fuel tanker crashed with another truck near the Western Avenue off- ramp. The CHP said the tanker spilled about 25 gallons of waste oil and diesel fuel on the dirt shoulder. The other truck in the initial collision ended up atop a Mini Cooper. Following the crash, a Sigalert has been issued for the lane closures as crews work to clear the debris and oil from the road way.
No word on the number of people involved, however Burbank firefighters said there did not appear to be any serious injuries.
